Junior Graphic Designer
Hunter PR is seeking a creative, self-motivated junior graphic designer to be a collaborative member of our fast-paced, award-winning Art Department. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related subjects and a minimum of 1-2 years experience post graduation. Strong organization skills and the ability to multi-task are a must, as are keen sense of concept development, layout, color and typography.

Job responsibilities include design of print and electronic materials, invitations, Web and social media sites, collateral and direct mail materials, signage and packaging.

Account Supervisor
Our account supervisors are seasoned PR pros who have 4–6 years public relations experience, with a portion of that time spent at an agency and/or consumer products company. Job responsibilities include: developing strategic, creative programs for clients; managing programs and budgets; supervising staff and team members; representing the agency as a senior client contact; and fostering and maintaining media relationships. Senior Account Executive
We're looking for ambitious, energetic and creative individuals to fill our senior account executive positions. Candidates must have 3–4 years public relations experience, preferably with an agency and/or consumer products. Strong media relations and writing skills are a must. Assistant Account Executive
Ideal for someone who has 1-2 years experience in public relations, preferably at an agency, this position offers the opportunity to grow and thrive in a highly creative setting. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and attention to detail are prerequisites for this job. Experience with food, spirits/wine and consumer products is a plus. Internships
Hunter Public Relations offers full-time (35–40 hours per week) paid internships to qualified candidates from late May to late August. The internship term lasts approximately 8–10 weeks, and start and stop dates are mutually agreed upon between the agency and intern.

Hunter PR will may also have Fall (September-December) and Winter (January-April) internship positions. If so, postings to this web site will be made in mid-August and mid-December.

Hunter PR interns are fully-functioning team members working on active agency accounts. Interns report to an account executive or senior account executive and are generally assigned to 2–3 main client projects. Duties include drafting press materials, building media lists, brainstorming ideas, researching ideas, pitching media and planning event logistics. Qualified applicants should have:

 

  • A basic understanding of public relations, its purposes and tools
  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Solid writing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • PRSSA experience or involvement (desired, but not required)
  • Established residence and transportation arrangements in the NY metro area for the internship period
